Since Everett has begun rambling a few weeks ago, he now likes to sing along while Mommy sings songs. Here is a super cute vid of him singing along and continuing the song after I finished. I also like his face in the beginning of the video, it was just all around a cute video...

Here fishy fishy...
Everett got to swim in his first pool this last weekend. We were at Uncle Dasan and Aunt Cassie's wedding over the weekend in Oshkosh and we had some time after the ceremony to go swimming. Everett was a little cold at first but once he got used to it he was a little fish.

My hands can do what?!?
Everett is figuring out that he can hit things with his hands now! I think he's been trying to reach for stuff but you just can't tell if it's him doing it consciously or subconsciously - until yesterday! He was lying on the floor on his activity mat (favorite activity of his) and I turned around to find him actually hitting the toys that were dangling above him! I quickly grabbed the camera and caught him doing this for a second time.
Speaking of his hands, not only has he become more able to put his hands in his mouth, but he now can keep them in there long enough to actually suck on his hands. I can see he'll probably be sucking on his thumb soon too. He also spends some time wringing his hands together. I read a quick stat yesterday that infants his age spend up to 2/3 of their waking day playing with their hands. He's realizing more and more about the world around him and it's exciting to watch!

Happy and talkative
In the past two to three weeks, Everett is starting to finally get out of the newborn routine. He has been sleeping for anywhere from 5 to 7 hours straight at night. He usually is "up" and awake around 7:30 to 8:30 in the morning. He is now to 3 hours in-between feedings. When he's awake he's up for anywhere for an hour to two. He's very smiley (as of the past week or so straight). He likes to be held to sit up at the end of your knees or to be standing up. He loves to watch all the daycare kids. He also has found a new fascination with the TV, Sesame Street is his favorite! He also enjoys laying on the floor, he tends to be the most talkative when you just let him lay on the floor by himself. I uploaded a video of him laying on the floor this morning... he had been up for almost an hour and a half, so he was starting to get a little fussy for his nuk so he could settle down and take his early morning nap :)

Another quick one
I've figured out that it takes either my computer or this site FOREVER to upload videos. So, while I've got some time this morning I'll try and upload a video from this past Tuesday. Everett was just hanging out on the floor and doing his usual flail around. On a side note - I think all mostly naked babies are just the cutest thing in the world! :) I've got a lot of pictures to upload from just the past week or so. I'll fill you in later on what has been keeping Everett (and us!) busy. Have a great day!

Initial Post
I've been meaning to start this blog for about 2 months now, well at least since Everett was born. Even though the blog is titled "Entirely Everett", this blog will be all about the life around Everett and our family.
I'll keep this first one short and sweet. Here's a video of Everett from about a week and a half ago...
The little girl in the video with Everett is one of the daycare kids - Lainey. She loves Everett, as do all the daycare kids. Everyone gives Everett a kiss at least once a day. We have kids here up four to five days a week. Currently the friends Morgan and Everett have to play with are:
Lainey - 18 months
Aiden - 5 years old (Lainey's older brother)
Ayla - 2 1/2 years old
Kya - 3 years old
